I put the faucet and the bell housing in a bath of CLR and immediately noticed residue floating to the top. After soaking for about 3 hours, the chrome looked as good shiny and bright. Also, our handheld shower nozzle will clog from the mineral deposits. After soaking in CLR, the deposits will loosen and and the residue can be brushed away easily. Once this is done, you can begin to spray a light mist over all of the wet surfaces, including the glass enclosure simply once a week. Put CLR in a bag and tie it around the shower head (unless the head comes off). Soad overnight and the next morning it will wipe right off. If the head comes off, just soak it in a bowl of CLR.
